The most common cause of front LED issues is due to one of the connectors (power or ground) on the LED strip being shaken loose.
For the smaller LEDs, they can easily be replaced with the spare strip located just inside the back door of your machine. (It will be on the floor not connected to anything).
As always, we recommend turning the machine off and disconnecting it from power before making any repairs.
To begin the repair, simply remove the silicone cover of the broken LED strip by slowly peeling it off.
Once the silicone cover has been removed you will be able to access the LED strip itself. It is secured by an adhesive so you can simply peel it up starting at the top and working downward.
Once the LED strip has been peeled off of the housing you can feed it into the machine through the hole at the bottom. (Alternatively, you could also perform the repair directly and avoid the next steps by re-soldering the connection if that is the issue).
Next, disconnect the LED strip at the power connector and connect the new LED strip in its place.
At this point, we recommend turning the machine back on to make sure that the new LED strip is working before continuing. If the new LED strip turns on then turn the machine back off and continue to the next step.
Feed the new LED strip through the hole to the outside of the machine, and remove the appropriate amount of the adhesive backing so that it can be attached into the LED housing.
Replace the silicone cover by pressing it firmly back into place.
